Cut center panel 41" by 22 3/4"
Cut six 13 1/2" squares in black fabric, cut twice diagonally (both directions)
Sew to nine inch blocks, and trim to 14 inches
For border square-in-a-square, cut leftover fabric into 2 1/2" squares,
for 60 red squares, and 120 black squares
Cut black fabric once diagonally, and sew to red squares
Measure center section precisely, and adjust needle position on sewing
machine so that 15 blocks sewn together are that width, and 13 are that length
The four extra blocks are for the corners
Bind with a narrow binding
