I have an on-going ten year hexagon paper-pieced project (who doesn't?!), but this quilt was basted and sewn (and quilted!) in under a month. I have a quick hexagon glue basting method, then another glue method to tack them down to your background fabric, and the best part, you quilt this quilt yourself on your home stationary machine. Both classes are required, the first one to learn how to baste the hexagons, the second one to quilt it. Batik fabrics are ideal because they crease so nicely. Make a pillow to learn the technique or your choice of quilt size.
