String quilting is a great way to use scraps of fabric by piecing them together to become a beautiful table runner or quilt. You will dig through provided fabric scraps and sew strings (strips) together to make as many 8” squares as possible during our time. We will discuss fabric combinations, sizes of strings, squaring with a ruler, & options for eventual assembling into a finished project. This technique will not require accurate cutting of fabric strips or an accurately sewn 1/4” seam. Your creativity will be the fun of this quilting process.
